Why dont we just stick Moyes wife in charge

Moyes can tell her who to buy, Who to sell and what tactics to use

Also at half time he we could have a skype link up to the Utd dressing room so he could do both team talks at the same time

That's not what he's saying though is it? He's saying Moyes did a lot of good here and maybe his example could be the one to emulate as its got us this far.

He's acting as though Everton FC is going to struggle just because Moyes has left, no one man is bigger than the club.

We can advance this club we just need the right decisions by our board, which isnt an easy task.

I see no reason why Moyes couldnt do both jobs.

Oh no how will we ever replace King Moyes of Everton

It will be so difficult to find find a manager to not win a cup for 11 years and poo his pants whenever he sets foot in Anfield

What shall we do

I think it's embarrassing that the number 1 contender is Martinez, surely there has to be a better pedigree off manager interested in the job?

Although I accept its a forgone conclusion, I think a manger used to the top of the table would be an improvement.

I may be misinterpreting what he's said, but I think he's saying at this current time, under these circumstances imposed by the board, Moyes was doing a very good job. He and others are just likely nervous about the transitional period. It could take some time to adapt, especially to somebody like Martinez's style.
We may well have to take a backward step to go forward as these where Moyes' players.

Yeah its gonna be BOSS when Fartinez wins at Anfield but loses the other 37 games.

PYAR BOSS

People who don't wan't us to continue with the Moyes model and wan't to undo his 11 years of work with a completely different style of management and football, take a second, and think of why David Moyes has gotten the United job and also think why every other club in Everton's position financially is using Everton as the model of progression/success.

Unfortunately we are never going to get another Moyes so whoever we get will be a step down, but the important think for me is we do maintain the work what has been done, and with the new transfer budget (hopefully) try and push on a bit further, if that is possible.

The transfer policy will stay the same because it's the only one Everton can afford, and the football won't change drastically because Moyes himself didn't have a set philosophy. The next manager will have to carry on basing tactics around the players as long as there is no money at the club to make significant changes. There is little to worry about in that regard.

A fresh approach from an outsider won't go far beyond small changes such as using Fellaini in his correct position (he and Gibson dominate every midfield they come up against) or using Barkley instead of someone like Hitzlsperger. This is a massive opportunity to reinvigorate a team that has gone badly stale at times over the last five-six years.

Anyone who doesn't think Everton are going to struggle without Moyes is incredibly stupid. I don't mean to be licking Moyes out but I just don't see it. anyone we get must be in the Moyes mold to continue his work, not tarnish it and start again.

True, but its very realistic thats going to happen.

I'm looking forward to the change personally anyway, what else can we do?

Nice one, someone doesnt agree with your opinion so they're stupid.

Oh right so you would rather win the FA cup one in 8 years of the premiership rather than seeing club progression and then get relegated.
