Moyes pushed out by entitled West Ham Fans

Probably going against the grain but they've been so underwhelming every time I've watched them this season yet they somehow always seem to get a result, usually down to a piece of individual brilliance from their small group of excellent footballers (Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen) or Soucek scoring at the death. They were incredibly poor both times we played them.

I think a forward-thinking manager should get a hell of a lot more out of that squad, in the same way that Martinez took over Moyes's team and had them playing some of the best football I've ever seen at Goodison in that first season.

Watching Moyesball in that god-awful stadium would be enough to drive anyone insane. They've pretty clearly hit his infamously low ceiling, and I don't blame them for deciding to twist rather than stick.

Burnley should try and go for Moyes

Moyes is a big name for someone like Burnley and Burnley is close to where his family lives

Would be a good fit imo
Way above Burnley standard. He’ll be a good bet for anyone in the bottom half that has a bad start to the season

Moyes will take the Celtic job or Scotland

Hes built them an ageing squad and spent a fortune doing it.

Going to be a difficult job for the next couple of years unless they sell a few players and reinvest.

Expect Lopetegui to be a bit of a wildcard when it comes to the transfer market.

They'll find, to their detriment, that Moyes's 6th, 7th(?) whatever was their high point

Not really. The old players are mostly people from before he came in. The chairman was just playing games with transfers rather than letting Moyes run the show, an approach which paid dividends for us.

For example, Moyes wanted Eze, but Sullivan claimed they could not afford him. They then spent MORE money weeks later buying Benrahma in a position where they already had cover. Eze has gone on to become a fantastic player.

Moyes has an eye and judgement for good players, but that only goes so far if you cannot get the players you want through the door.

Moyes doesnt seem the type to agree to have no control over signings?

Obviously he had a degree of control. He got some kind of veto agreed when he extended his contract. But that is one of the reasons he left - they wanted to take that power away from him.

Sam Allardyce has spoken about how things work there. Random players would just appear at the club overnight.
