He was woefully boring in his tactics. I still cant believe they appointed him.

we didn't lose the game. We scored after 6 minutes. defended then like it was the last 6 minutes which led to Sunderland scoring welbeck. then we didn't change anything and Sunderland scored after 60 odd minutes. still didn't change anything until the 82 and 83 minute. It was shocking that we done that. We didn't even look like scored for the 15 minutes or so after they scored again.

Then there was Newcastle a month before that. They score through Taylor, we score and nebulae pulls up after we are 2-1 down in the first half. so Dustin comes on, heitinga in midfield then and we failed to create anything after that oddly enough.
 

Poor sod, he was only paid 5 million quid for being crap at his job.

And he hasn't had stick from all quarters like some make out - people have slagged him off on internet forums which he doesn't read.

If anything, the tv pundits, newspapers and ex pros have given him an extremely easy ride considering how badly he did last season. Meanwhile, Rafael Benitez and Aston Villas Boas were ripped a new one by our fantastic, xenophobic press, even though they are far, far better football managers than Dour Moyes will ever be.

Villareal went on to be a penalty kick away from making the final.

I think it's nearly impossible to be as unlucky with the qualifying draw as we were that year. We were also denied a perfectly fair goal with 10 mins left of the second leg that would have brought it to extra time.

I know, it was like having 5 english teams in the comp would have caused to much trouble with splitting the tv money etc.

Everton got the Semi-finalists.
