Moyes sacked by United

I don't think anyone would argue that Moyes did well, or shouldn't have been sacked, or that he doesnt line his teams up to not lose rather than win- but i think this whole thing is more revealing of rio than moyes.
its petty and bitter.
If lvg dropped his big players and made them train in a park everyone would line up to touch his tip calling him innovative.
its clear from this that Moyes had the change room up against him at OT, and Rio seems to have been a big part of that.
Moyes did well with us, he won LMA manager of the season 3 times, he was picked by Rio's idol Ferguson to be the new manager- and now only a few months later he calls him embarrassing and amateur. So he can sell some books? The guy is an unprofessional joke.
Cant wait to see what he has to say about Redknapp's tactics and training routines when he releases his next autobiography in 2 weeks.

People have their opinion's on Moyes' failed year at United, but Ferdinand was part of the problem
If anything Moyes should have shown him the door when he arrived
Totally classless

When was Sunderland away? Because that is when you said you stopped supporting him.

So only two years ago then?

@Moomin

there is a difference between not supporting a manager anymore and simply knowing his weaknesses. Id have been made up getting 4th or a cup with a try not to lose attitude but after that sunderland game i was supporting Everton not the manager because i knew Moyes was holding the team back.

Four years ago was 2011 right? It was, im pretty sure it was.

Yes that is me. What does that have to do with anything? lol

It seems to contradict your bold grandstanding though mate. Can you shed any more light on the contradiction please?

Rio, he dropped you because you turn like the ferry these days and can't get off the floor to win headers, mate.
Exactly. Also, I feel we shouldn't be using Ferdinand's comments to justify ranting against Moyes.

I know he was a get after he left, but he did steady the ship, he just didn't know what to do after that.

Viva Roberto, like.

How does it condradict it? I support Everton, i support the manager. I could see how our manager put us out to play and still supported that because he was our manager. Then one game it cumliated into a shocking piece of managing over 90 minutes that i decided enough was enough in reagrds to moyes and wanted him to walk from his contract.

I didnt support the team any less and still watched / went the games / bought the kid kits for my son. I still wanted us to win games and in all honesty as much as i didnt support the manager i didnt want him to do anyhting else then walk from the contract because he deserved to for the job he done. But it was that same job that didn't allow us to kick on after 2009. it was that job that lost us games on the pitch. financially we were/are a joke over his tenure but we lost games through these poor tactics and fearing the other team, whether it be top of the league united or cant beat anyone yet reading.

so yeah, was saying it from about 4 years ago that he was doing it, but that specific game in the north east lost my support.

Ferdinand is battering Moyes though. But he is saying what we all thought and knew had happened. His tactics he had with us just didnt fit.

Well said Rio. Moyes is a dinosaur and shouldn't be near big clubs like Manchester United who are famous for attractive, attacking football.

The thing is what I can't stand about that dour imbecile is his arrogance. He literally does think he's in the elite gang of managers just because he kept Everton treading water for 11 years and qualified for CL footy ONCE but even then, getting found out against Villareal and not properly qualifying for the competition's group stages.

He's an idiot.
