Moyes sacked by United

Lot of United fans saying this "isn't the United way" but isn't this exactly what they have always done historically? Have one very successful manager for a long time then quickly sack his successors and spend 20 years in the doldrums.

Hi lads. United fan here in peace.

Only fitting that my first comment would be in this thread. I'm absolutely relieved he's gone.

Everton twatted us without even trying. Straw that broke the camel's back.

A fitting end to the season now would be for Liverpool to lose the title, and to show my respect for your great club, hope you get 4th over Arsenal.

I'm off to celebrate this news even more.

.....just been looking at the next United Manager betting. I remember the clamour on here for Vitor Periera because he looked like Jose, so based on that I've had a couple of quid on the Juventus guy, Conte @ 33s with Ladbrokes. Probably as useless as Vitor but he looks the part.

I do think United need to get shot of Rooney and with hindsight should have sold him last summer.
Absolutely this, unbelievable he was given a new contract on more money. They could have taken 50m off Chelsea for him and gone and bought Costa or Falcao instead.

Does anybody think Moyes regrets leaving us? Forgetting about his pay off from United which will be a couple of million on top of the additional wages he got working for them for nine months.

I mean, he didn't appear too arsed about Everton for a good while, so maybe he thinks the experiment of trying his luck as United was worth it, even with the way it ended.

I guess when he realises his stock has fallen and he won't get to anywhere near our level for a number of years might make him regret leaving us in the way he did. I think he probably got all caught up in the romanticism of being hand-picked by Sir Alex.
