Not sure the EFC of 5 - 10yrs ago and S'land now are or were quite apples Vs apples on a lot of financial levels.

fair point, just a little bit funny how Moyes never has any money to spend wherever he goes though. even united didn't really back him the same as they did the next two in the job.

Still had a better roster and product than the current Sunderland side.

Although they may have just jumped ahead to 1993 and signed their version of Shockmaster (Lescott).
