Moyes to Sunderland

It's not as bad as Richard Keys and Andy Gray, but if Sunderland are looking for an excuse to get rid this would serve.

There is a trend for reporters to ask silly questions though. How did she think he would react to that question? It's not quite in the Geoff Shreeves envelope, but it was still a bit naughty.

It's like those idiots who stand outside Downing Street, shout a question at the politician as they come out and then start their piece on the NEws with them not answering. Drives me mad!

Stupid in the extreme from him, but people do say things without thinking. I don't agree with the tendency to expect public figures to be perfect all of the time but that won't make it go away for him.
Either way his career is hurtling down at such a rate he'll turn into one of those journeymen managers, taking jobs in the championship, SPL, or with obscure international teams.

Another day, another PC-related non-story.

Moyes is a bell though. Reporters have got no obligation to give footballers or managers an easy ride.

Lineker needs to learn to shut up, he's quickly becoming one of the most annoying people in British public life.

I'd love to hear what Moyes says when the FA ask him to 'explain his comments' - what do they expect?!

FA: 'David, please explain your comments'

Moyes: 'Well as you saw on the video, I gave her a thinly veiled threat of violence because she was being cheeky with her questions'.

FA: 'Thanks for clearing that up David, as it wasn't 'kin clear enough on the video!'

yes, he needs to recall the adage "it's better to keep your mouth shut and be considered possible fool, than to open it....and remove all doubt"

I believe the Belgium job will be up for grabs, shortly after the World Cup starts ;)
