Why did he wait until the end of the season if he wasn't going to stay? If he had jumped 10 games ago least they would have stood a fighting chance.

Can't see many people wanting his services now, unless he becomes a window cleaner or sonething like that.

...to be fair, I think the lure of United would be difficult for any manager to ignore. I presume at that time there was no indication that Moshiri was on the horizon. Somebody involved in the Premiership and who has worked with some of the most famous managers in the game told me all of these blokes are on an ego trip.

God'll get me for saying this, but remember that "once Everton has touched you, nothing will ever be the same."

True for Moylez to be sure, just not at all in the way it was intended by the incomparable source. Sums it up, really.
 
Still think he could be a good DOF if he's willing to accept that he won't get another respectable manager job. He was quite good at spotting players, having the money to sign them was a whole other matter.

...was thinking similar myself. I doubt that would appeal to his ego but you never know. He does actually live very, very close to Steve Walsh. Just saying.

Just the thought of him coming anywhere near our club again has my knee jerking all over the place here.

Fume wouldn't even touch the surface.
