So apart from Mr Ed (Davey), I see that Farage is now asking what the knighted Keir Starmer who was head of the CPS at the time knew about all this and why the CPS didn’t get involved and investigate. Apparently the CPS had the power to do so, but didn’t. …Probably too busy prosecuting Jimmy Savile, oh no wait…..

I hate having to defend starmer on anything but why would the head of the CPS know anything about the post office pursuing postmasters for made up financial discrepancies under their own separate legal authority?

pepe doesn't answer, just lobs contentions accusations around and then runs off. It's the tory way, 'you answer to me, not vice versa'. mega-karens the lot.

Apparently the CPS had both the responsibility and authority to intervene in any prosecution. It looks like they didn’t bother….

You asked one question a year and a half ago, or should I say you posted a picture of our Queen, many times, who was buried a year ago and tried to relate it to a PM who resigned before her death. Any chance you could remind me exactly what the question was……

Utter nonsense.

The Post Office both investigated and prosecuted it.

Which meant they presented all the evidence, that they had gathered or lack of it, via their own self appointed legal team.

There was no reason whatsoever for CPS involvement and the fact that the Post Office where able to do this, without third party involvement, ie the CPS or checks and balances, is one of the things that’s under heavy scrutiny.

Must do better.
