I would be concerned if someone wants to do that to Paula Vennells.I'm concerned that one or two top people will get fingered and publicly humiliated while a whole raft of bar stewards go unpunished.

Totally agree. Bonuses for prosecutions. Scandalous behaviour. These clowns were getting 'performance' based bonuses based upon how much money they could recover from the true victims of this. That is horrendous. What happened to 'without fear or favour'????
How the 'stasi' was run. Only the bonus was not ending up in front of the firing squad themselves.Totally agree. Bonuses for prosecutions. Scandalous behaviour.
I wouldn't get a job on the bins if I did that with Mrs S's CV content, great norks though.Seriously, I'm yet to hear from anyone at Post Office or Fujitsu who appears to be any good or even qualified for their job.
Is a person who cant even get his own CV correct the right person to become an Investigator ?? (I'll leave you to consider any other possible alternative motives, dear reader)

Daily admits erroneously including his wife's education on CV
During the discussion of his past employment history, Robert Daily admits that he erroneously included his wife's educational achievements intead of his own on his CV when applying for a position in 2008.
"Did you realise this and correct this at the time?" asks inquiry counsel Emma Price.
"No," replies Daily.
"So it's something that's only come to light during [this investigation]?," asks Price.
"Yes," replies Daily.
there are many in the PO who have questions to answer in so many areas of a failed organisation. Sadly I think it will be some low hanging fruit and a few middle managers who are sacrificed.vennells knowingly lied to the select committee. I suspect an M.I.A. shortly.
I may be getting my hopes up, but, there seems to be a building desire to really roust a few of the known big players here. fujitsu will get off with a massive massive fine and contribution to the compo. When criminal charges against whoever land, and the post masters and mistresses have been paid off, they'll all have the cash to bring civil cases. It'd be nice if the criminals had the day of their release (from prison) till the day they exit this mortal coil wrapped up in legal matters and court appearances.there are many in the PO who have questions to answer in so many areas of a failed organisation. its a lesson for anyone in life who has to investigate others (my work role involves investigations and sometimes court) that this is serious business and there are rules to play by to ensure fairness for all, and always better that 100 guilty men walk free than one innocent man found guilty.I may be getting my hopes up, but, there seems to be a building desire to really roust a few of the known big players here. fujitsu will get off with a massive massive fine and contribution to the compo. Glorified debt collector, the kind of bullies that go threatening young mums and oap's. Be nice if the scum 'just following orders' copped for a few coatings of justice. It does make me wonder seeing as this fiasco has occurred when the PO was both public and private where the liability will fall. There have been players involved that got preferred access to shares that sold them as quickly as possible and at least doubled their investment. This entire show stinks, and it tells a tale that some mp's are speaking so early in such strong terms. Let's see who gets thrown to the wolves initially.its a lesson for anyone in life who has to investigate others (my work role involves investigations and sometimes court) that this is serious business and there are rules to play by to ensure fairness for all, and always better that 100 guilty men walk free than one innocent man found guilty.
I loved watching the barrister question the PO biff today, she was superb, prepared, thorough and ruthless. He was out of his depth and was shown to be a bonus chasing 'loss' recoverer.
Looking at the clowns who have been investigating and appeared before the enquiry when I have watched, they aren't the type to be squirrelling away the cash but benefitted from bonuses for imposing misery on innocents. They'll be easy meat. The upper echelons of the PO need to pay too, both in cash and the loss of liberty.Would be good if some cash could be clawed-back from the various bonuses paid out across the Post Office and Fujitsu. Mega Rich people tend to be good at protecting their cash though.
