What is there Involvement with Bournemouth all about....
An owner or investor cannot invest money in players. It isn't 2006 anymore. Cash for players has to be generated by the club from sponsorships. TV rights, player trading ect. MSP could give us 15billion quid and not a penny could be spent on players. MSP need to come in and improve the commercial side of the business. That is our biggest issue as the people in charge now do not have a clue how to make money
Which can only be done via inflated/doped sponsers which is why the only path to success is with a gulf buyout.
Newcastle went from a £6m a season shirt sponser to a £25m a season one + a £8m a season sleeve sponser both from Saudi owned companies. They'll like also do a naming rights for SJP.
In comparison Leicester won a league title, got to a Champions League Semi Final, played 2x seasons back to back in europa league and won an FA Cup yet their shirt sponser is less than ours.
In short - MSP may be able to get us a few quid more in the coffers but they / any owner are wizzing in the wind as its simply not enough to cover the costs of funding a team of quality to be in and around the european spots consistently.
Its why our long term outlook is unfortunately that of a Crystal Palace / Brentford type club now - midtable mediocrity.
I like that.Newcastle are irrelevant. Poxy club with with poxy fans.
The reported leak about who where the most thickle fans the Saudis could win over explains a lot.
Anything they do from now on will not be entertained whilst their owners behead children.
Limited to a short term working capital loan (which indicated we were otherwise cash strapped) technically as yet. 10m I believe.haven't they already invested money into the club?
I like that.
I’ve just tried this search and all I can see is people referring to last year’s accounts (2021/22). You’ll have to help me out a bit here. There was also you and Zat saying we’ve got £60m to spend this window but we won’t discuss that in here due to off topic reasons.
Sometimes it's a beautiful mistake. Why do you like a spelling mistake?
Sometimes it's a beautiful mistake.
That word sums them up to perfection.
Well, thick definitely applies. Not really sure what you mean.
Well, thick definitely applies.
Fickle also applies to the loveable jardies.
Mash them together and it creates the portmanteau 'thickle' that you accidentally created.
Anyway, on topic.
When s this MSP thing getting signed off?

Possibly, a nice mix of fickle and thick, thought it was a decent made up word myself, sometimes a mistake works out well.
