Apparently they are trying to raise the £250 mill at the moment - whether they will or not….they have a poor reputation - that won’t tell us about they intend to fund the ground or the club. They have no money as an organisation themselves.

You also have to provide the PL with assurances and proof that you can fund the club mate - these might struggle with that.

I tend to think this is a filling the void story…feel like it always happens when things go quiet on deals. I don’t think 777 have the money that’s being quoted, but you never know with Moshiri. He certainly won’t care about a ‘fit and proper’ test.

So it has gone very quiet from MSP and I'm told that Josh Wander, a managing partner of 777, was bragging last week to colleagues that he's about to write a cheque for around £250m to take control of Everton.

That would be convicted drug dealer Josh Wander.

Brazilian outlet O Globo have reported that Josh Wander, co-founder and managing partner of 777 Partners, was arrested for cocaine trafficking in 2003, during his student days.


If I had to guess he was beaked out of his head chatting biscuits.

Not sure second hand gossip about a coked up millionaire bragging to colleagues is much to go off of personally. Count me as skeptical at this point. Seems like Paul Brown has a (legit) agenda against 777 partners so is ready to run with a story like this. I could be very wrong of course.

Totally agree, and not trying to disparage his report on them at all, it was eye-opening and important. Just trying to read between the lines on what’s going on overall.
