Not sure about this going well, who can we ask as a good reference….
‘What would Everton do….?’

Sadly nobody wants to buy us
Someone might want to buy us if we stay up, but certainly no one wants to buy a lower league club that's saddled with hundreds of millions of Pounds of debt and has the most antiquated stadium in the country.

Someone will buy us whereever we are. The price will change significantly is we drop a decision though.

How is it scary?

Is Moshiri relevant if the board was massively improved and made all the decisions?

How so?
I read the whole article. Some of the things they could do (potentially, maybe not in our case.?) are a bit scary.
it may well not turn out that way of course, but I want to know the ins and outs of it before being remotely happy about this.

A minority investment isn't going to result in a new Chairman / CEO. One or two new directors in that scenario isn't near enough to drive change and potentially results in rival camps and yet more muddled decision-making.

If the preferential shares option is true then this investment is the first step in a full takeover / majority stake. MSP will place conditions on the money invested and that will no doubt include significant changes at board level. The fact they will invest regardless of us staying up suggests they’ve seen ways of improving the way Everton is run as a business. I appreciate the concerns around that but we have been an appalling mess compared to our peers in terms of generating revenue and running the football club for 20+ years. I believe we’ll see a new chairman and CEO in the summer and look forward to them running the club properly.

So 25% share means Bill & Farhad get to stay on, I don't know much about this MSP but it seems more like a deal with vultures picking whatever meat remains off the club rather than just selling entirely to 777 who would probably want to turn the club around
777 have said, no thank you...
