All feels to me like its a deal that would let Moshiri keep his grasp on the club.

If we stay up, get that stadium built then we are worth much more than what he paid, this is why he is keeping hold.

I get it, all owners want to make money, but just feels like with him still "running" the club we will stagger and stutter to the new gound and never realy progress.

Maybe im wrong, but the 777 seemed better for us as fans looking in, as they would want to turn us into a self-sustainable club, that they could improve the club on its own merits.

But, we never know do we with any of this....we was all buzzing when Moshiri took us.

Moshiri is not making a profit when he sells us.

If large chunks of the club are owned by various people, why will it make it harder to sell going forward? How many shares has Moshiri got right now? I actuallly cant remember but its most of them, lets say you are a potential buyer who wants to buy Everton, but not just enough to be majority share holder but enough to make a good profit if its ran succesfully, if you have to go around various parties to buy them, and they all have to agree, just takes one to say no and they will walk away.
Whoever buys in, we need them to buy us, buy all of us, and get Moshiri away from any important side of the club. If he wants to keep %5 just to have some income thats ok, but not large chunks

Moshiri doesn't run the club, as per his interview, he's hoping MSP will come on board and help provide the direction.
Hope, that it, hope, we need more then hope. If Moshiri dosent run the club why has he been hiring and firing managers? Why has he been geting involved with transfers, he totally runs the club, if he hasnt been running it ask yourself why not

are we? hes put in about 700m i think? i doubt hes making much profit even if we were sold after its built

A minority investment isn't going to result in a new Chairman / CEO. One or two new directors in that scenario isn't near enough to drive change and potentially results in rival camps and yet more muddled decision-making.
It depends whether say it is two seats means also losing one or two seats. There would be no point at all, if a Moshiri rides roughshod over any decisions made by the Board, and where there is say a 6 member board, but three or four of thr votes are all going to side with BK if he stays….then yes I agree it would be absolutely pointless.

If the preferential shares option is true then this investment is the first step in a full takeover / majority stake. MSP will place conditions on the money invested and that will no doubt include significant changes at board level. The fact they will invest regardless of us staying up suggests they’ve seen ways of improving the way Everton is run as a business. I appreciate the concerns around that but we have been an appalling mess compared to our peers in terms of generating revenue and running the football club for 20+ years. I believe we’ll see a new chairman and CEO in the summer and look forward to them running the club properly.
Yes I’d be flabbergasted if we don’t see a change in personnel this summer and agree with your other points

Kenwright must be rueing the day he sold majority shares to Moshiri, i know lots will not agree with me (and im no fan of Kenwright) but things have definitely got a whole lot worse since Moshiri came IMHO.
We need some top notch commercial people in this club to turn things around. The Premier league should be a cash cow, how can we get it so bloomin wrong!
I agree to an extent but I think that is because we are comparing now to 1) the money spent in the first two or three seasons - subsequent spending since has been comparable to the odd season here and there under Kenwright (relatively speaking) and 2) The later Moyes years, however other than the first season under Martinez, this club was on a downward trajectory finishing 11th two seasons running, there is no guarantee that under Kenwright continued custodianship that the downward momentum would not have continued - for all we know, if we stuck with him we may have been relegated by now, but yes I agree that the Moshiri years have been nothing but an unmitigated disaster.

I don’t recall in my lifetime two successive seasons where we have had to wait until the final home game of the season to try and avoid relegation. Even the torrid 90s gave us a couple of years in between or allow us to be safe with a few games to go. Finally, to finish a season with less that a point per game average which is the lowest points return per game is just absolutely embarrassing and shameful for all of them (owner and board)

I think he may well do, he has spent around £500 mil on us, once that ground is build we have a massive asset on our sheet.

He has spent near 500 million on the stadium alone, share rights issues are 300 million plus whatever he paid from us at the time of buying us.

If the fee is 600 million he will make a sizeable lose.
