Even if msp were able to spend funds on par with a club backed a dodgy human rights abusing nation club, we wouldn't be able splash it due moshiri being inept so I would just like sensible business operators on commercial deals, recruitment and board composition that doesn't have the usual cretins

I don't think we'd be able to spend liberally until at least 1 full season at BMD.

Way I see it...if we stay in the league...

Next year's accounts should put us in the black.
FFP review is done (hopefully just a fine)
Still have to sell to buy.
Finish midtable.
Get new sponsorships
Finish the stadium

Increase in revenue etc for the 24/25 season.

25/26 have an actual net spend.

Arne Rees? Is this just the RS getting their own back for Mr Richard Arlison?

We probably have to accept that Farhad is not ready to let go of the club. It’s unfortunate but not much we can do. Can MSP help us in any way shape or form? Maybe they help us get some absurd sponsor deal? All I know is somebody needs to take the decision-making out of Farhad’s hands but is he willing to let a minority shareholder do that? If MSP can’t generate funds for the club in some way to stop the bleeding of FFP then we might as well not even bother.
Get McLaren F1 on our shirts

If reports are accurate then MSP are just contributing to funding the stadium (debt that can convert to equity in the future) rather than a current or future takeover.

If this is true their presence on the Board is likely to focus mainly on the financial management side of things to ensure we can meet the interest payments to them.

This scenario has always been Moshiri’s preferred position where he retains control and gets to see the stadium hopefully improve revenues and help rebuild the value of the club, limiting his losses.

If this is MSP’s role any benefit to us commercially or in moving out Kenwright/DBB will be in future years not day one and be achieved indirectly by convincing Moshiri it is in his financial interests to make the changes.

I dunno,
anyone (apparently with the exception of Moshiri and Usmanov) would look at Evertons current setup and think the position of the Chairman and CEO are untenable especially given that they have apparently fallen out so badly with the fan base that they cant attend home games.

Najafi on his own is worth more than Moshiri before you start including the others within the group. They have a lot more than 777 basically who are dodgy as hell.
I really hope so, its hard to get positive about things atvthe moment. If this had been before Moshiri i probably would be well excited. Just dont trust anything this bunch do...

Same Moorad that owned the San Diego Padres at one point?
According to wikipedia, yes. I don't know anything about baseball, is this a good or bad thing?

tidbit: wiki says he bought the Padres off a "John Moores"
