Yes I have wondered about that myself mate. Noticed that thing the other day that PIF have sold their McLaren stake to the Bahrain Sovereign Wealth Fund. It might be one of those things that once they get their feet under the table we see some further movement on it as Farhad clearly needs to just leave now asap.

I do not want us to be owned by dubious nation state with questionable morality.
Already turned a blind eye to dubious ownership and it stank.

Seven years as Chairman on someone else's dime, first-hand, and he may do it again, second-hand. He's certainly canny, just a terrible shame that his "skills" don't extend to managing a football club as a business.

We still need £200+m on top of the reported £130m just for the stadium.
Moshiri has been trying for traditional construction Finance for two years. He still hopes to find it believing this loan will help as a smaller ask will be less risky. Given the risks surrounding him and us the most likely scenario is that such Finance remains off-limits so the only source of funding will be MSP offering more convertible debt. There is a very real possibility Moshiri loses control being diluted into a minority stake without getting a penny as increased MSP convertible debt becomes new shares.
Moshiri’s objectives and MSP’s may be fundamentally conflicting. It is a messy situation and one where many of the possible outcomes are not terrific but it is arguably still better than the status quo as it may create a path to a proper takeover a couple of years from now.
