I'm not a liar mate I just tell it how it is - not one fan on here would walk away and go support someone else if Qatar bought us tomorrow and led us to winning a PL title and Champions League.

The alternative is being owned by someone who at some point has committed dubious acts / intentionally made other people poorer as to make their billions as is the way of every ruthless/successful businessman.

Football is rotten to the core these days - would rather it be us reaping the benefits than someone else otherwise we may as well go take up Badminton if suddenly we are all socially conscious about who's buying into football clubs.

Interesting to read his $500m stake in the San Diego Padres (2009) was worth $800m by 2011.

I don't disagree about the nature of the game being so money driven that the game attracts 'undesirable elements' but, to express an if you can't beat 'em, join 'em attitude after castigating 'em seems a bit odd to me.

I just feel we are all being a bit hypocritical with regards The fellas at Newcastle for example.
