To be fair John Moore made his money from the football pools
Which was gambling
He was essentially a successful bookmaker
There is very little moral high ground for the wealthy.

He also built the Littlewoods empire a ruthless businessman - who pumped his money into our club interest free - hence our title The Mersey millionaires - two Titles & an FA CUP - from 1962-1970 - Yes I would like someone like that as he never suffered fools - like BK ......

Never said he didn’t.
But he made his initial fortune through gambling.
Wasn’t necessarily a criticism, just an observation.
Wilf Cuff was appalled by the pools and was at the forefront of trying to prevent them with methods such as keeping the fixture lists secret until close to match day.

What we're looking for are people who have a clue how to make a club function. We didn't have that before. An ex-player and a chugger completely failed to hold to account anyone.

That's exactly right.

Moshiri needs MSP and the additional finance they can attract.

MSP see their initial minority stake as a cast iron money maker after straightening out the business and (hopefully) managing a sustainable, premier league club up to the point they (Moshiri and MSP) sell up.
