So the fee has been agreed. All he needs is his medical, I honestly don't know why we take this long? we are a joke

From the daily mail Transfer news column - "Everton are confident of signing Muhamed Besic after a club delegation held talks in Hungary with his club Ferencvaros. The 21-year-old Bosnia international had interest from Swansea who offered £4m and West Ham. However, despite Everton offering a lower sum up front, at around £2.5million, the player is pushing for a move to Goodison where he also hopes to figure in their Europa League campaign."

Gonna be ace when it turns out we weren't even in for him.

It's amazing how I'm all excited about him and I didn't even see a Bosnia match this World Cup.

Oh transfer season, you silly goose.

...well I'll be really happy with Besik, think he could be a very good addition. Probably too slight for a Premier League CB, but think he could really be a top defensive midfielder. Playing alongside McCarthy, it will be like having 2 marathon runners in the middle of the park.

How can Swansea offer £4m AND West Ham? Swansea don't even own West Ham and I'm pretty sure the Hammers wouldn't be too happy about it.

If it's the same delegation that went to Porto then I advise to bulk buy your bleach.

Think this is important we get this one over the line if we're saving the majority of our cash for Lukaku.

What does 2.5 million up front rising to 4 million in drips and drabs get you these days? Virtually nothing!

Even the kid Galloway is thought to command a similar sum and he's rarely featured in the first team for a league 1 side in this country!

I'm not going to confess I know this Besic lad inside out, but what we're hearing from people that do, the lad looks a player and the price a crazy bargain.

Whether it turns out to be a bargain only time will tell, but the good money would be on it being just that.

The more of these lower price "gems" we can find the better with most of the funds going on a striker.
