Not saying Everton Aren't We are proper ITK or anything but they do seem to get a few things right and they said it's done, no idea on announcement though.

Or we are Skint probably the most logical answer.

Or maybe if the 70% going to Hamburg are only based on the initial payment with the addon payments structured in such a way that it excluded giving away 70% then it would also make sense to accept 2.5m with addons above a 4m offer...all depends on how the initial contract was structured. I know unlikely scenario but not impossible...
