Peter Reid is a shout. Actually seems to play like PR with pace to his game.

If he becomes anywhere near the influence on the team that Reid was, we may have pulled off the bargain of the summer. Only time will tell. He's probably nailed on for a red card at castle greyskull, should he play. If so, my money's on a Sturridge dive..

I remember watching a video of McCarthy it was a montage of a game he played for wigan against the mancs. The video someone posted earlier of besic against nigeria really reminded me of the mccarthy video. They seem like very similar players to me which makes me think that they will be rotated with barry and gibson as the other rotated pairing.

That was when I realised what an outstanding player McCArthy was. The pressure put on central midfielders at Old Trafford was immense , and his ball retention for a [Poor language removed] team was remarkable
