ITK here. There's been some sort of delay because of unresolved paperwork/agent issues. Kenwright is struggling to make a convincing origimai elephant, which he swore he could do in the pre-contract agreement, leaving Besic and his agent thoroughly unentertained.

Of course, today's gossip is often tomorrow's done deals and one transfer that looks to be nearing completion is the arrival of Bosnian midfielder Muhamed Besic at Everton.

The 21-year-old, who enjoyed an impressive World Cup, has long been linked with a move from Hungarian side Ferencvaros and now he has joined up with the Toffees on their pre-season tour of Thailand.

Everton are set to make it official when they return from their travels next week.
