I aint even joking.

Honestly, he has everything I look for in a player, high energy, excellent on the ball, superb tackling and just the right level of utter snide.

He reminds me a little of Joao Moutinho, Moutinho probably has more creativity, but in terms of desire and talent they are quite similar, sadly Moutinho didnt become an Everton player and never really reached the heights he could have.

But mark my words, Besic is a real talent.
 
Thought he played really well, does get a little cocky from time to time like dribbling out of defence then taking it back just to show off, looks great when it works though. He's only going to get better in my humble opinion. Has the potential to be a super little player.
 

I think he's boss, great passer, can go around a man, can obviously tackle and his positioning/work rate are class, but he seems to make mistakes that could lead to a goal every time he plays.

i like the lid, at the moment he looks like he's got another few disastrous flicks/dummies/tricks in him before he gets the pace of the league. He looks decent to me, I agree about his energy, cockiness and he doesnt mind getting a few reducers in. He'll do for me, he showed at least he eas half arsed on weds.

Without a doubt. Barry and Besic are far too similar. You need one sitter and one runner if you're gonna play 2 DMs. When the runner steps up to meet a player, it forces that player into either going inside and likely into the path of the sitter, or sends them outside where they get crowded with the winger/fullback.

Barry and Besic are both "sitter" type players. McCarthy (and Naismith) give that pressing that we are desperately missing right now.

He's young and raw, and will make mistakes, but he looks like he has everything required to become a very good player. Gotta remember DM is probably the most difficult and most disciplined role to learn.
 
Besic has turned in consistently good performances lately. Technically he is very good and reads the game well. Not the quickest but pretty swift to react and his reading of the game helps him out.
 
Don't understand the slating of this kid , takes risks most definitely but other players lose the ball just as much as him and to be fair easy been our best player past two games

He never scared to receive the ball with players and for a 22 year old thats some bottle and ability

He has all the tools to become a real top player and people questioning him because he's played at a poor standard ... seamus coleman people
