Muhamed Besic

He's a modern day Mike Milligan.
Reminds me more of Carlton Palmer.

Added both of you to my ignore list, along with Tubeymania.

If at some point in the future you wish to change your views on probably the finest player thats ever graced the Goodison pitch, we can maybe look at lifting it, until such time, can you please not watch any games in which the aforementioned Mume Besic performs his talent.

Thanks.

Agreed. It's ignorant to say that he's not the greatest player to ever walk across the Goodison pitch, really

MoutsGoat, i gotta say i love your passion when it comes to Mume. Similar here. :)

I've watched him since he was around 18 and instantly became a huge fan and couldn't wait to see him get a call to the NT once again(after he left for Hungary). At that time he showed some great moves with his quick turns and great vision, not to mention work ethic i've never seen from any other player(and i've watched footy for a long time). Absolutely love the kid and i'm glad he's playing for Everton as the fans and club seem to really like his game as well(there will always be some bad apples everywhere you go..and that's ok).

Having said that, i do also think that some Bosnians and others go a bit overboard with "he's better than Barkley" and similar comments. I love Mume and have said this a million times to others but its true that his offensive game isn't better than some of those guys. With Barry, whom i'm not a big fan of, i think Barry's vision has kept him on the field longer and why coach prefers him. What else could it be? He doesn't run well and certainly isn't as good defensively so that's the only thing he does do better than Besic imo. Even if Besic doesn't get any better with his offensive game(even though that last game for NT really impressed me), i won't complain because i truly believe he can shut down any player on the planet(and that's enough for me).

Anyways, i've watched quite a few games this season and looks like Martinez can't find the right balance. Without Mume that middle looks really prone to easily giving up space and so you guys give up more chances. If he's in there then offensive game seems to go down a bit. I think as he gets more comfortable hopefully he makes more forward runs and makes the great passes that he's shown lately. If not then perhaps use him more as a shutdown player and somebody else can drive the offense.

Leon Osman has come into the team ahead of him and put us on a winning streak. Says it all. If you could get your arse to stop eating your computer chair you'd do a better job than Besic.

Martinez needs to play Besic and McCarthy for a run of games. They need to build up an understanding together and see if there's a blend.

Players like Gibson, Osman, Barry are fine for one-off games but we need to develop a partnership in the centre and for that to happen McCarthy and Besic need game time.

First priority is not to concede and with those two in centre midfield we look very strong as a defensive unit.

Someone mentioned Islamophobia few pages ago and that's exactly why I said it in my post. I clearly said IF that is a reason, then it's not okay, but I am clearly not here for long enough to know. I apologize if that was just a joke.

And yeah @chicoazul, I better be supporter of Ex-Yu players than hater of everoyone and everything on this world. Btw, Tito didn't touch my mom lol. Nice one though, I give you that.

Not having a go just curious but what's the reason for typing above quotes?

Hahaha. Loving these crazy Yugoslavs touching themselves because one of their players tackled Messi LOL.

Tito groped yer mars tits and she loved it.
You do know there is no Yugoslavia for long time now :) I doubt there is any muslim haters here or whatever . But there is few who enjoy to wind up people. One thing about Bosnia muslims , they are by one writer from Austria and by some reserch only group of muslims who will vote against mixing Goverment and religion 99 %(Sharia law) and there is hardly a diference betwen Bosnian Muslim , Catolic or Ortodox, yet they massacre each other in that war 20 years ago (that is how much Tito was such a cool dude , unite all that crap and make something strong , and only Komunist - socialist land that thrive) .But back to topic . Besic should play as soon we got to 40 points mark every game, so should all young players who should be backbone of next season . I think we saw this season that when u are older ( past 32 ), one season can be the diference betwen that Barry and that Distin from last season, and this season.

These are my sentiments exactly. I love Mume but if he needs to sit on the bench then it's what needs to happen till he grows into his role. It's obvious he's being groomed into a specific role. Everton is a great club with some awesome players (Banes, Barkley, Lukaku, Miralles..) and Everton fans are cool as hell imo. Honestly given time I have no doubt Mume will grow into a beast of a player for Everton. He has all the right tools.

Also @paulus, smiri hormone malo.
