I think that's why we aren't bringing in another Center midfielder either defensive or attacking. We have essentially 8 players that can all do the 3 jobs unfortunately none of them is a proper No 10 but I think we're just going to be relying on Deulofeu and Mirallas and our fullbacks like previous years. If McAleny has a good pre-season even though I would never have believed it two days ago you could almost see a scenario where he might play and if he does well even be a starter.

We shouldn't worry too much. Cleverly, Barkley and McCarthy with Del and Mirallas on the wings is still far more creative than last year.

Even if you meant tricky trevor (steven) then you're miles off thinking he was some sort of midfield enforcer.
