You just need to look back to the games against City and Spurs seazon before last to see his potential when fit. Or the Bosnian games when he totally negated Messi and Bale.Desperately needs some positional discipline/nous but that can be coached. He is great fun to watch.
he's injured again, isn't he?
Look no further than Darron Gibson. He was injured so often that he became depressed and drank himself into oblivion every chance he got. Let's hope ya boi doesn't fall into the same vices. No, but I can see why some players never really recover from injury inside their head, cos everytime he passed or ran with the ball the other day I was on edge hoping and praying he didnt get injured, after suffering the injuries he has I can only imagine what its like for him, wondering if he sprints to fast will something pop.
Made me think anyway.

He certainly has the discipline to play the Barry role (evidenced by the man marking jobs he has done for Bosnia), plus he has the passing range and out matches Barry for pace. However I'm not sure whether he has the football intelligence that Barry has which is what singles players like him and Schneids out. If Schneids were not available for whatever reason, I certainly wouldn't be against Mo being played in that role in the premier ahead of Barry. I'd keep Barry back for the Europa games where I think he'll excel. Certainly until the latter stages should we get there.Besic will be the next Barry...if he can stay healthy.
Wouldn't argue with that. It's not every week we come up against the likes of Palace and Stoke so his height wouldn't be an issue from open play, and his game would suit us more when playing the likes of City, Liverpool and Arsenal minus Giroud.NEA I prefer him next to Keane instead of either jags or Williams

Williams n Jags are the definition of disasterBeside at CB over Williams/Jagielka?
