He's barely had much playing time with us, mostly down to injury (dodgy incident vs Chelsea aside)... but he's still pretty much my favourite player in the current squad... the little rascal. Hope Koeman gets him in the team whenever possible, great to watch as he always looks like he's on the edge of doing something crazy!

One thing he has on his side to play as a CB is speed. The boy can shift when he wants to. I wouldn't fancy many forwards to beat him for pace

Having a 100% fit Mo (Which I don't think we've really ever had) would be as good as any new signing and something I would really love to see, but from a business sense we can't afford to carry him much more he has hardly put a run together in the first team so this should be a really big season for him in in terms of his longevity at the club.

I personally think a fit Mo would be sensational as a CB.

TBH most of our centrebacks since Stubbs have been useless in the air so any worries about his height are probably unfounded. The long diagonal cross has been our cryptonite for ages regardless of who was at CB.

Heitinga won player of the year in the 2011/2012 season. Was very effective that year eventually settling in to centre back quite well. Ended up playing in a World Cup Final and getting sent off of course. It all went downhill from there.

We cant go into the new season with the three expected midfield starters, Davies, Besic, Barry and McCarthy.

I think Besic is brilliant but he's so injury prone. Having him fit for a season would be a game changer...if hes injured again I think that's it for him
