I'll admit he isn't at the level he should be by now.. but this is as much owing to RM not playing him when he was clearly better than Mcarthy and then the injury..

I am reliably informed (by half-helmet Eunuchs who play such things) that Besic has inferior ratings to McCarthy in both FIFA18 and PES.

He remains a very talented player if very raw. I think of the Manchester City game, but aka ore previous season QPR at home or Liverpool at home where he got the better of their midfield, you can see there is a player in there.

He looks to me like he is trying too hard. At present he needs to go back to doing the simple things, tackling and passing to a blue shirt. If he can do that his ability on the ball and engine will start to show up.

I thought he had a good game away at Hayduk probably because he kept things more simple.

Would have been a terrific player for us had he not been plagued with injuries, time is running out now, he needs to stay fit, which is a longshot looking at his record.
