Just looked at the headlines and had to look twice.

15 years to the day since Rhys Jones was murdered and the same night as a 50 year old woman was stabbed to death in Kirkby.

There’ll be media, politicians and community leaders picking the bones out of it for a week or two but really how do you reconcile that and the impact it will have on those who loved them. For such a compassionate city we’ve took a wrong turn somewhere. Sincerely breaks my heart.

There's no social responsibility in society anymore. It's a hierarchy and when you see those at the top disregarding the lives of others and you see corporations ripping people off or pumping crap into the sea then that is what the whole 'trickle down' economics is all about.
A lot of people take no part in society so don't go with a moral code and these are the consequences.
For shame.

Been a massive issue in the city for a while and only seems to be getting worse. Two murders and how many shot in the past 24 hours now?

Horrible a little 9 year old has somehow become collateral damage for these scumbags.

And the poor girl at the weekend in Old Swan

Utter shitbags
In terms of the young girl, I’d suspect it’s more likely that both were not the intended targets although that obbiously doesn’t make it right.

Hopefully, as with Mercer, the shooters name will already be know to the authorities as there’ll be those in criminal fraternity who’ll throw them to the wolves.
