Having had fantastic personal experiences over many years, It seems its finally coming to light that the active ingredient in certain mushrooms "Psilocybin" is a great psychological and physiological help to us humans.
What a boss thing to grow out the ground !!!

Last time I properly tripped off them was in Laos and bought a banana pancake on the street but couldn’t see anything and ate all the paper it was wrapped in. Found the full banana pancake in my bin the next day…. and promptly ate it. Not sure if this was a low or high point.

Took DMT once and would say it’s as close to a spiritual experience I’ve ever had. I’m fairly hardline atheist as well.

Got to be carful with them, I've had two mates who were really into them on separate occasions be sectioned, one for a long time. Obviously he had problems going back but the mushrooms triggered a reaction that ruined his life in the opinion of most of his friends

LSD too has had an acceptance-renaissance within the scientific mainstream. Timothy Leary was right, man.

I remember going to squat parties/warehouse raves in the late 90's, early 00's and them being absolutely ram jammed full of Italian drug tourists who had come to London just for the Fat Freddies and Illegal warehouse raves. I remember some lad from Genoa telling me how he was just a normal dude who came over for work, got invited to a squat party, discovered LSD and then never went home....

In my experience it seems like most people who take LSD nowadays do it via micro-dosing, people who aren't even into that drug culture or getting smashed. I used to take LSD every other weekend for about a year and felt fine then I had one bad trip and from then on every time I took any kind of mind altering drug whether that be acid, shrooms etc id have a terrible time. Best thing I ever did was quit, some people i know from back then who didn't quit ended up losing the plot completely
