Transfer Rumour Naismith Bid Rejected

How is losing a player on deadline day good for the club? We have no depth as it is. It's great money for him but it needed to be at least a week ago.

Because he's not good enough to be anywere near our team and they offered a silly amount! It's as simple has that lad

Gonna have to agree to disagree here mate, how was he good enough on Saturday? He just made a nuisance of himself. We only made one chance the time he was on ( Kone header ) and he had nothing to do with it

Didn't make a difference in the sense that he created chances, just his crazy ability to draw free kicks which not only takes the pressure off our defence and gets the team up the park, but it frustrates the hell out of the opposition. Even subtle little things like that can change the course of a game, his know-how and guile is valuable IMO. Worth knocking back £8m for? Absolutely not, but only if there is a replacement coming in. In this case there is no time, even if there was though i'm not sure Martinez would sell him as he obviously rates him, hence the contract extension and mucho game time last season.

Anyway, wait until Monday night when he scores a hat-trick against Germany, he'll be worth £25m then :)

Why did Norwich wait for today to make the bid? It's not like leaving it until today makes a club more likely to sell, it actually makes it more likely that the bid will be refused. Might have been a fake bid tbh.
