Not writing him off yet but it's fair to say he was a liability in Baltimore. He was out of his depth vs Arsenal. Completely out classed as a defender.
It was a good job he had a tracker back like Townsend with him against Boreham Wood too or he'd have been in trouble then too.
 

Isn't that the point? You bring them in young, for £11m, so we're not sat there 5 years later wondering why they're charging us £30m?
It is, but in this particular instance it may not have been the best idea because we actually need a right back. If he’s ready this season it’s fine, if he’s not then you’d have to say it probably wasn’t the best idea in the circumstances.

Yep it's exactly this.

We've ended up with a right back who's past it and a right back who isn't ready.

Patterson is the exact signing that should've been made about 4 years ago to play under Seamus.

The clubs run by absolute imbeciles.
