Not much you can take for 45 mins against a team 5 divisions below but what I will say is he is extremely one footed. Very worried how that translates up the levels as he didn't even threaten to use his left

That means nothing if he is actually good enough, Ryan Giggs was totally left footed and was one of the best players ever in the PL, his right leg was literally just for balance purposes. Very few players are properly two footed.

Looked good but clearly behind Kenny in the pecking order so got hooked when we reverted to a four.
Can’t have any complaints either when Kenny put in a MOTM performance in the second half imo

Very few are properly two footed but most are at least comfortable controlling it with the other even like Giggs and Robben were. I'm not asking for him to be a De Bruyne or Kroos but it does clearly show one very good reason why Kenny has been preferred at left back. Again you cant really take anything from 45 mins against a non league team but its an indicator

I'm saying from that 45 minutes he doesn't look one bit comfortable doing it. It was all one foot which is probably why Kenny has been consistently given the nod instead.

Consistently at left-back which means nothing for our future right-back.

Think you should focus on the positives that he showed rather than looking for something to criticise?

He has been known to show what he can do with his left foot by the way!

He’s got a great touch, a heavy pass (good thing) and is very fast. Was a bit of a bummer he was subbed - thought it was very harsh on the lad.
