I mean, doucoure gave away a crap penalty vs Chelsea on the lads PL debut. (It's already been discussed on here that it wasn't Pattersons fault for the goal).

As previously discussed with you:

Chelsea goal was not his fault. Go and watch it, he stepped out to pressure the player on the right, the ball passed through to Chilwell who Doucoure was marking and he also had Holgate behind him.

Forest - Pickford should have done much better with that shot. All of the defence were stepping forward because there was little risk, but the midfield again allowed a shot from distance to be made.

Should we go through all of Colemans poor games and point out every mistake?

Remember when you tried to claim the Leeds goal was his fault as well? Despite it coming from the opposite side of the pitch? Nice to see you remain blinded by your agenda.
Chelsea goal: we were supposed to be holding a line, so breaking out from it was the mistake.

Forest goal: no anticipation that the shot Pickford saved would pop out again, and he's running away from the scene rather than looking to mop up any danger.

How is Patterson 'first choice' when Coleman is putting in commanding performances?

"It’s a really healthy competition for two lads, one who has been here a long time and one that is coming through. They get on very well so I’m more than happy with that." - Lampard yesterday.

Stand in and first choice and second choice dont come into it for the man who matters most. It's just healthy competition...something we should have in every position.

Another pathetic comment

But Patterson is first choice RB

You know, I know it.

Only one of us has an agenda due to them making a silly sausage of themselves after slating the lad because he joined us from Rangers, then he went on to make you look a right berk with his performances up until he got injured.

I'm with Dave here, a little anyway.

Collyman has come in and done ok, just off the back of a great display at Palace.

If it was the other way round we wouldn't want Patters dropped. Its healthy competition, can't say I've watched Fulham much and honestly outside of Mitro I couldn't name another player, that's on me.

But Lampard will pick the 1 he feels can cope with whatever Fulham bring as an attacking unit.

Coleman is the past and also the present, a great player, great servant and we are lucky and honoured to have him at this club.

Patters is the future and also the present, great that we finally have 2 Right Backs who will no doubt push each other to perform.

So he should have just let the wide player have all the time in the world to move forwards and pick a cross? While he and doucoure double up on one player? You'd be screaming at him for not closing the man down if he did.

Forest, he wasn't running away at all. You don't even know what he was doing in the goals you are blaming him for. He was holding the line with the rest of our defenders when our midfield allowed them to shoot from range which pickford did an awful job at gathering a tame shot. Maybe he could have anticipated that, but a ball being parried out always benefits the attacking team as that's the way they are already facing.

Coleman should be starting tomorrow after the display at the weekend and to allow Patterson to ease back in.

Dave is purposefully making brash claims to cause arguements though. Coleman played well against Palace, but saying thats the best RB performance we have seen and is the standard and that Coleman keeps putting in commanding performances when his ones in the games before that were nowhere near the level as Saturday (or to the standard Patterson has been performing at) Is either Dave showing his agenda against Patterson, or he is baiting.

Dave will Dave.

It’s a non debate because it won’t be long before Coleman drops an absolute clanger and then Lampard will justifiably put Patterson straight back in. It wasn’t that many games ago that Coleman just didn’t bother challenging for a ball at the back post and we conceded. He’s done ok for the games he’s played but he’s not a suitable first choice for the whole season, the sooner Patterson is brought back up to speed the better.
