...he got back more today...but he could only jog into the box for the 2nd goal conceded. he had nothing in the tank....which is why wing backs IMO are a calamity.
…I commented he struggled the last 15mins but other than that I thought it was very promising. I’m not a fan of the system either but that’s the way we’re going, so it’s more about the players.
I do think it’s a key element of that WB role is to have blend and I’m not seeing partnerships forming so far. Neither WB appear to be linking with those ahead at this point.
