…I commented he struggled the last 15mins but other than that I thought it was very promising. I’m not a fan of the system either but that’s the way we’re going, so it’s more about the players.

I do think it’s a key element of that WB role is to have blend and I’m not seeing partnerships forming so far. Neither WB appear to be linking with those ahead at this point.

The back 3 were doing the defending. This lad hasn't been called on to defend. Not really. And what he delivered in attack wasn't great either.

His attacking prowess will improve greatly if or when we get more of a hold in midfield.
This is the right answer. It's about timing and good quality hold up play re NP or releasing attacks. That's his game. The question is whether Everton are building a team and transforming the style. If not it would be better for NP and Everton if he went elsewhere. He would do well in an Ajax type style.

Ok? Yes. I'd say ok. Just that.

IMO as soon as he's able to Lampard will have Coleman back in.
And Everton will go nowhere. What Everton have been doing for years is surviving. If a young highly talented attacking footballer cannot fit into Everton I'd say the problems are greater than you understand and it's not really a NP problem. . Youve lambasted this kid from the off with ridiculous statements for example about how the Faroes winger tormented him when in fact he came in in 87 mins and created the winner. You're a nice lad and popular on here and I accept it's not my forum but you don't half talk a lot of nonsense.

….he actually got a few decent blocks in defensively and generally held his own, one was goal bound. I only identified him on play-back.

It was only later on he followed the ball twice when the opposition played a one-two around him. They will improve with match fitness and experience.

There's no way he should be dropped or rested at this stage. He's been absolutely fine in a team expected to lose every game until reinforcements are made. Stick with him and he'll be brilliant.

LMAO at you patronising Everton when you support that zombie club.
