All Patterson has over Coleman is fitness. That's all.

I've said it before: at RB we have an ageing Coleman who cant hand us anywhere near 90 minutes and a player who cant defend and who really should be out doing what Coleman did his age and learned his trade in the Championship.

We need another RB who is secure and can attack a bit.

I think hes quicker and taller. But yes peak Coleman is better than this Patterson, but he cant be expected to do it week in week out.

You have a go at our right back every game you need to stop doing it .....I'm more concerned about our left back tbh - but we drew away to the reigning champions....so I'm happy with that .....

You moan about everything....
I have a go if he's cost us. And he has this season.

He cant do that job asked of him. Not yet he cant. There's no use denying that and ignoring it.

He didn't. He played ok.

How did you think he played? Rate it realistically.
Thought he had a great game, kept Grealish quiet, was defensively very disciplined, didn't dive in, made some good tackles/blocks at vital moments, obviously wasn't able to get forward as much as he would have liked, when he did he was involved in a couple of promising moves, thought on a few occasions when he got himself in good forward positions Iwobi could've put the ball in front of him but he kept choosing to play it inside and inevitably lose possession!!
Dealt with getting the booking and didn't let it affect his usual energetic and committed style of play.

He's a player Div, not the finished article yet obviously but Everton are lucky to have him and when you can get over your prejudices relating to him you might just see it... ?
