mate you're deluded. Ive never attacked Patterson because of his background. Nothing like it. The only bigots on here are those that wishe all Irish fans would disappear.

for clarity though there was a poll on here recently and Rangers/New Co came out as the most hated team amongst Evertonians (other than the RS obviously) so I'm hardly alone in not loving that side of Glasgow. Your emphasis of having a LOT more fans than us is pretty lame though to mention in this thread.



Again not only have I never castigated Patterson because of his background I've not really slated him at all. As is well documented he makes the odd mistake which is entirely understandable due to his age and lack of any top flight experience. If we'd paid a lower fee and he was being used sensibly from the bench he'd be perfect. I like his attitude and I'm sure he'll go on to a decent career. I just don't think he's the world beater than some of the Rangers affiliated fans on here seem to. That's all.

His fee at 12 million up front is peanuts for EPL teams. Mykolenko cost £17 million, again not a lot for EPL terms.

Cucurella cost 55 million after 35 games for Brighton.

When he moves on to another club we will more than get our money's worth back.

Respectfully, and I appreciate you're biased, but I dont think Patterson isn't yet at least either possessing, or showing signs of possessing, skills equal to the other two quoted.

£12m would have been far better spent on another area of the pitch.

I’m really intrigued, as to why his two biggest critics on here, seemingly aim no criticism at our left back, Mykelnko ?

For some reason, they seem to reserve most of their ire, for young Nathan.

Don’t think so, he’s too good to be playing in the championship.

It’s not ideal to have a young player still learning in a team that needs to pick up points but he’s holding his own in that team at the moment, doesn’t look out of place.

Our main areas to strengthen are, left back, creative midfielder, two wingers and striker. Right back is way down the list.

He’s not too good to play in the championship don’t talk nonsense he’s come from playing hardly any games in the SPL to Everton’s first choice RB you telling me he’s ready for that? could of played without fear and enjoyed a season of first team football think he’s a game away from playing more first team games for us than anywhere else he’s better than myko but that’s not hard, haven’t replaced digne and haven’t replaced Coleman who’s needed a replacement for at least 2 seasons thankfully we have Pickford and got 2 decent CB in our 2 full backs aren’t good enough which as I mentioned are adding to the problems we currently have of crap players only thing Patterson has added is he can do 90 minutes regular and myko made us weaker

It seems many can't have a reasoned discussion on this player without getting abused. It's sad. What a crime it is to say "he's still young and makes the odd mistake". I'll say it about Coleman not being at his peak as age has caught up with him.

So he was playing for the holding company rather than the football club then?

In any case, the club is owned by The Rangers Football Club Ltd, whose holding company is Rangers International Football Club Plc.
