I thought Nathan Patterson did very well today. Once he sees this dreadful season out and has decent preseason for our next campaign, he can make the Right-Back position his own... to the annoyance of some on here.

Where were our two centre backs? no one man marked their top goal scorer - he was free on most of their corners even ?

He’s learning and improving every game. Patterson , like Garner and McNeil , has the same things going for him , young, improving , good enough for us but not so good we’re going to lose them to another club.

I'd have to see it again but he was stretching for the header. I don't think he ever had much control over where it landed.

Didn’t think so tbh. He cut out the ball over the top, that’s what he needed to do. The problem was that we didn’t win the second ball and they did, Dyche said as much in his post match interview - Iwobi was sleeping and they just picked up the loose ball.

Exactly how I saw it, he was at full stretch to cut out a dangerous ball over the top. He had no control over where it was going. I'd like to ask why was the city player, who ran onto the ball, didn't have an Everton player tracking him?

Seems to me petty to blame him for that goal instead of praising the fact he cut out a dangerous ball. It appears the agenda is real in a few on here, if you ask me!

A 5 man midfield has to be doing better with that second ball
