At the start of the season when he was our first choice RB I said he’s crap and still believe he isn’t ready even tho I’ve since seen something in him and think he could become a good signing but to expect him to come in with no senior football experience and be ready is ridiculous. This is what people don’t understand do you know what it takes at the very top level at any sport to be good enough? The jump in different levels are Massive it’s not a case of throw them in they’ll find there feet, early years development is crucial and the premier league isn’t a place to learn your craft from the SPL or any other league with no experience.
So back to my original point, as is typical with too many of our fans. You wrote him off, saying he is crap.

That’s contradiction number 1. Number 2 is your mantra good enough, old enough. Then you talk about what people don’t understand…..

Could you make up your mind? Instead of changing it like the wind changes, in order to suit your point. Then at the same time, claiming you have got some intellectual insight into football development. Despite arguing against the very point you make.

Will he make it Everton, who knows? But his chances of making it are far higher if we support him and others. Rather being the boo boys, which social media seem to be creating!!

Patterson?

Not seen it.

At this level he looks out of his depth in the most important dimension of being a RB: defending.

IMO he is nowhere near the level of defensive ability for a PL club.
With Bambi we have a world class non scoring forward. Patterson is on his way to be a world class non defending defender.

Last time I’m going to reply to you oswell as your ceiling for being a gobshite is much higher than Patterson’s potential. I wrote him off and held my hand up as I think he could be a premier league player in the future it’s fine to get it wrong he wasn’t the signing we needed at the time we signed him and he isn’t the RB right now to be starting every week simple. Wasn’t specifically talking about football I’ve worked with professional athletes in 3 sports I know how hard it is to be at the top level in the sports I’ve worked with people it’s unbelievably hard the dedication and sacrifices alone never mind the talent needed to succeed the premier league os probably the top league in world football and the SPL is way down the list. In my opinion he’s not premier league ready and if he is these kind of players not up to scratch with mistakes in them learning as they go will have you in relegation scraps.

Most on GOT thought Coleman should have retired last summer...good job the clever people aren't listened to at Everton or we'd have been relegated by now.
What's that got to do with you not liking Patterson?
Coleman will not last forever......we will not have bundles of cash - the only worry is Patterson injury prone ?

Good to see you maturity strikes again. Write off every player, saying not good enough etc. I assume you weren’t the sports psychologist of the group!!! As the ‘oi, your crap’ line at everyone wasn’t the motivator.

I refer you back to being the typical boo boys, as for the gobshite comment, look through our conversations and compare likes on posts. I think when you called me a gobshite, you were looking at in the mirror. Apologies for making you look a big muppet. But maybe reflect on being muppet and try to be less of a muppet. Making up you have watched 19 games in one night and spotted all those goals Patterson was at fault for was a real highlight.

I sense debating things with intellect, is way beyond you.

…..it matters to him, I have no doubt about his commitment;
