…I thought he was too safe. One driving run into the box to set up Alli shows what he can do but i’d have liked him to worry them more.

Coleman will rightfully come in, he can sit out and build up his determination to break into the side.

…nobody has supported Patterson as much as me since I first saw him at Rangers, but I recognise that Coleman is still superior in respect of his overall impact on the team.

Coleman will come back in, I’m ok with that. Patterson has to win his place which I’m sure he will but his performance today was not one where the Manager would fear leaving him out.

Mate ?????

Theres no way Coleman should be back in.

Reminded me a lot of a younger Seamus in how he carried the ball. Was too aggressive in the tackle sometimes and was caught out, might have been for the goal? But looks promising and looking forward to seeing more of him.

….he’ll be straight back in & as a Patterson admirer I have no issues.

I’d be disappointed in Patterson if he’s not first choice by the end of the season but I don’t think he’s won his place yet. I think Coleman offers more than folk think, Patterson has to win that position. I don’t think he did that today.
