Coleman only started playing RB for us at 24 as he wasn’t deemed good enough to be there before that. Maybe give Patterson some time.
Coleman had a lot more going for him when he stared at Everton. He was doing very well before he went out to Blackpool.

Yeah I've just checked it , so, 3 premier league starts before Blackpool, hardly enough to judge if he was doing well or not.
He was deemed a success when he left for Blackpool. We all knew he'd be back and needed to get experience defending.

There's no such plan for Patterson. He's neither proven himself a prospect and neither has he been sent out to get experience.

The two situations are dissimilar.

You're right Dave there is no such plan for Patterson, this is because he is being asked to be a regular part of the match day squad, not an ideal situation. It would probably be a good idea to get behind him, as he isn't going to get the luxury of a Blackpool loan move.

Literally spent 2 full seasons playing RM for us after coming back from Blackpool as he was far from ready. Even Moyes talked about his defensive frailties back then.

No mate, right back Coleman was a SUCCESS for a handful of games. So much so that he was sent on loan.

When he returned he played RM because he was such a SUCCESS at right back apparently.

The manager said he needed to develop his defensive side because of his SUCCESS at playing right back, apparently lol

The amount of lies posted for clear non footballing reasons just continue and continue and...continue.
