We looked a lot better when he and Gomes came on. Lost fewer goals anyway, and he was providing an outlet that’s been missing down the right hand side. Certainly looked better than any of the other RBs did so far.

I hope the injury isn’t serious and he is available for the last few games at least.

Thats a silly take I’m not defending dyche I’ve said he should be sacked but Patterson didn’t get injured because he’s not played enough get a grip.
Of course it’s because he’s not played enough.

The kid sits on his arse every match, bit of warming up, zero minutes, watching Young make a balls of everything, and never gets near.

Hamstrings go when you’re not warmed up or played enough - he came on and was bobbing around trying to get affect the game after 0 mins for weeks - it’s all on Dyche Walker.

Tell me we didn’t look better down that right side with him on the pitch as well…..

Dyche won’t pick him after this. I saw him go past the half way line at least 3 times. Unacceptable for a full back. Get back in your own half if you want a game in this Everton side Nathan. Godfrey will be starting on Sunday.

He last played a game less than 3 weeks ago we haven’t just asked him to play 90 minutes after 18 months out if he’s not fit enough he’s not looking after himself well enough or the conditioning work isn’t good enough but you don’t get injured because you’re asked to play 45 minutes after a couple of months of limited time on the pitch.

He played two full games for Scotland the other week.

Freak injury or he just quit.

Assume you didn't go to the game last night?

Because if you had you'd have seen Nathan warming up extensively with some of the Everton subs initially and then he came back out and ran up and down to us in the corner with the Chelsea subs as well.

Now you could say he was trying to avoid being close to Dyche but he warmed up more than any player I've seen for this one.

As for the last comment - the game was over when he came on. Chelsea didn't want to push it and risk anything ahead of the FA Cup semi final.
