Can’t have McNeil at lwb surely, I don’t fancy any of our midfielders in a two in there either.

I like the idea of 3-4-3 but the personnel aren’t there I don’t think.

I'd guess it would be Young at LWB and Patterson at RWB.

Probably the best we can do, I think we’d get killed through the middle and out wide but we’d cause teams problems.

He played that at Villa in the cup last year; we played so far up the pitch Villa couldn’t pass out the back. So they went long, and the Centre backs won everything

It was massive blueprint for him, so many positives. Cut the passing lanes out and win the header from the long balls. Yes you may get caught, but you also increase your chances of scoring - and we create very very little from open play

He went 3 at the back at Burnley, we battered them. It went wrong at Wolves, his arse went and he just went back to his bread and butter. Flat back 4, flat midfield 4, long ball and keep it tight

He won’t, we know he won’t. He’ll continue as is, blame everything around him, maintain the image and hope another club buy his BS

But back on Patterson, I highly doubt he’ll play tomorrow anyway

You could even play Mykolenko on the left of a back 3. I think he'd be alright there, he's solid enough at the back, he just has no attacking skills at all. He's the anti-Patterson.
