So the season is fully in its stride now. Who are people routing for. I'm a big KD fan so don't mind the Sun's. Celtics are the team to beat however.

Warriors have started the season very well considering they aren't particularly fancied but thats the benefit of having a player like Curry

Most logical explanation is Luka said he wouldn’t extend but (1) there’s no smoke and (2) even still you do a sign and trade

Most likely is that you have a bad GM who thinks “defense wins championships” and doesn’t shop one of the league’s most valuable assets and makes a historically bad trade and the new owner is so clueless he doesn’t veto the move.

There’s another logical explanation. When they re-evaluated Luka’s calf, they found something really bad and thought it could turn into another Kawhi Leonard or Joel Embiid situation where he’s just never healthy. So instead of paying supermax money to a sick note, they sold him real quick to a dumb team (which the Lakers count as these days) before everyone found out.
