Where will Kawhi end up? Are there only four possibilities left? Here are the official SN odds (but really, who knows the Boardman?):

50% Kawhi to Lakers
28% Kawhi stays in Toronto
20% Kawhi to Clippers
2% Kawhi to Knicks

I wish football was more like American sports where great players will still happily join crap teams like the Nets. Imagine Everton being crap one season and then the next season being able to sign the football equivalent of Durant & Irving.

The Wizards did them a solid by taking their trash. The Lakers never should have had enough to offer him a max.

AD and Kawhi would be a dangerous pairing, but they'll be cap tight and have little more than warm bodies for the rest of the squad.
I don’t think there is a better pairing in the NBA than Lebron and AD as Anthony tends to get so many points just by virtue of being on the court. Putbacks, cuts, transition, catch and shoot, etc. He doesn’t demand the ball much at all and can score in every way imagineable while being ridiculously efficient. Lebron loves to control the game which makes them the ultimate combo.

Having said that, Lebron has already stopped being a defensive presence. It remains to be seen if they can stop other teams from scoring and if Lebron is still going to play at the level required to carry a depthless team. I hope you are right. I’d be mighty annoyed if Kawhi went there as the Wizards had absolutely no reason to bail them out.

Lebron is almost 35, he won't factor during the season and he's a huge risk during the playoffs too
