The thing is that Embiid is 17 feet tall, that was expected.

Zion just has Rodwellitis in the knees. And a bad case of the hamburgers maybe, judging by the weight.

Weight is down now but he'll have to keep it down. He still has a really sketchy land on his dunks too.

Yeh I've been listening to reports that Pels will offer him his super max but with loads of conditions in it like Embiid got which I think his fair. If he can stay fit we'll be a force next season.

A lot of 'if's though, but doable and, as you say, very potent in a "teamwork" kinda way without a ball-hog star - Zion isn't that type so it makes sense to surround him with more team and D oriented players.

One thing we're actually missing though is a true point guard.

Isn't that CJ's role, or at least what he seems to be playing (or sharing with, shockingly, Ingram)? I've not seen many Pels games but it's how it felt to me in the ones I did catch...

Wasn't he a part of that massive Portland - Pels trade pretty much entirely because of that as well?

Yeh CJ is PG for us but he's not really a PG, kinda feels a bit square peg round hole. Heck even Zion play PG for a while pre-injury haha. Last one we had was Lonzo.

Tbh don't think you've properly played with that roster above to begin with, so maybe things will change if everyone's fit and firing?

We can't have mate, Zion hasn't been fit since all those players bar BI were here

I mean hopefully for many games of the season - young/learning quite well coach, young core, historical Zion (up to this point at least)... Plenty to be excited about, potentially!
