A shame, Denver will just close it out easy now. The shooting seems to have fled those vaunted undrafted lads for Miami but a superb and unlikely playoff run for them nonetheless

This series is done and dusted. Even with the referees trying to put Miami over, it wasn't nearly enough. And Bam had as many turnovers as the whole Denver team.
Talent disparity between two teams is so obvious.

Even beside Jokic and Murray Denver got so many offensive options, Porter Jr. not working, no sweat here are Aaron Gordon and Bruce Brown, last game it was that rookie Braun

It's also more proof that you can build a championship team in any market if your backroom staff is smart enough. Toronto, Milwaukee, and Denver are going to be 3 of the last 5 champions. All these free agents who insist on going to LA or New York or Brooklyn, you can tell they want to live the lifestyle and they aren't totally serious about winning.

Its also easier to build teams in NBA (and other American sports) in smaller/less commercial cities because of salary cap and generally much more socialist way in how money is distributed. Also draft lottery, if you luck out with your pick, like Denver did with Jokic.

Completely different in European sports, very hard to reach top of the pyramid and compete against already established clubs. Only way if some billionaire invest for whatever reason (Abramovich or oil money) like City/PSG/Chelsea.

The NBA discourse absolutely does my head in. It's basically, one top player has a great game and everyone is like "IS HE THE BEST IN DER WERRRLD" until another top player has a great game a few days later, and then everyone is like "IS HE THE BEST IN DER WERRRLD" until another top player has a great game a few days later, and then everyone is like "IS HE TH

Salary cap is such an anti-capitalist idea, yet it can work well......
