I've, sadly, followed the Grizzlies since before the Pau Gasol days, through the first playoff series win, to the WCF, and back into absolute mediocrity. These are exciting times.
Morant is the most exciting prospect the Grizzlies have ever had. A rare mix of talent, raw athleticism, and a chip on his shoulder from not being noticed until two years ago.
Yeh I'm a big fan of the Grizzlies and the Magic's rosters this season outside my own Pels team. Both quietly flying under the radar. Morant and Jackson Jr are a great pairing.

Memphis with Brandon Clarke too, they have a few nieces pieces to build with. But if JJJ can handle the pro game he should be a beast.
Already handling it! Big Valanciunas has been having a blinder all season in the paint too.
I mean his fouls and such. He can ball, but can he run 36 minutes against top players on a regular basis? He's not too far, and when he arrives they could be nasty.
Oh sorry yeh, that’s just a learning curve for me, he’s an exciting big man and surprised me. Think that 8th spot is up for grabs. I’m hoping if Zion can stay fit the Pels might make a push for it as they’re only 4 games back at the min.
I’m no expert like, I just read and listen to a lot of podcasts. If you like NBA pods you can do worse than David Aldridge’s “Hoops Adjacent.” DA can write but you have to pay the Athletic to read his stuff. I believe the pod is free however.

Clarke was a really shrewd pick. A perfect spell guy for JJJ and Valanciunas, and athletic enough to pick and roll with Morant.
I keep forgetting Valanciunas and he's relatively young too, not ancient like Gasol.

I can't believe Marc is 34. That shocked me when I googled his age
I mean, I'd love to be 34 again, or be as good an athlete as 34 year old Marc Gasol, but nevertheless he's ancient in NBA terms
I dream of seeing these 5 starting for the Pels one day: Ingram, Zo, Zion, Jaxson and NAW. So much talent and energy.
