Better than football? Never.
I think @McBain is referring to futbol.not too much of a fan of live NFL games. NFL was probably the best spectator sport back in the 70s-early 80s where sure the stadiums were awful and they played on concrete but there was an energy in some of those places like Miami, Cleveland, Washington and Pittsburgh that you didn't find anywhere else. Similar to the prem its become so corporate now that its changed. You could hear a pin drop in good atomsphere places like Pittsburgh and any of the energy is stifled by stoppages/replay. At least the prem doesn't have stoppages, the NFL good lawd sometimes baseball has more action.
College which has denser stadiums, younger people and the games meaning more is IMO the best spectator sport.
NBA, its fine. I've went to a few Wizards games which admittedly isn't the quintesstial NBA experience tho. Nobody rooted for the wizards and 1/2 of the crowd were asians (immigrants/tourists) who wanted to experience any NBA game ($20 tickets why not?).
Hockey is a great spectator sport, because its the one sport that TV can't replicate. even in HD its hard to follow the puck, but in the nosebleed seats you see everything.
I think @McBain is referring to futbol.
Completely agree with what you’re saying—hockey is probably my favorite of the big 4 to see live. Also, the fan experience is much better for college basketball rather than NBA imo
I love basketball but I don't fully understand the rules.
Can someone please explain the rule of travelling.
To me, Sexton's dunk at the start of this is like a million steps?!
Traveling and palming the ball are not really called that strictly anymore in the pro game.
Can’t see the video—I guess it’s blocked here in the StatesI even slowed it down. Is that legal or illegal but no one cares?
The NBA is pretty notorious for leniency on these kind of rules, in the name of entertainment and letting the game flow. Have tightened up a bit recently I think, but still very lax compared to FIBA comps.I even slowed it down. Is that legal or illegal but no one cares?
Yup. High school refs call the games more strictly than the NBA. I think non-calls of palming increased a lot after Iverson.
